Thick (1.25") hardwood dowels of 16" width with safe double knots make our rope ladder a must for a monkey bar kit. Safe double-loop that goes through and around the dowel. 250lb load capacity. Each ladder bar is polished to prevent splinters but is comfortable for a grip and not at all slippery. We polished each ladder bar with care to prevent your kid from getting splinters, having a sturdy grip on each dowel on the way to the top.
